Review of Radiation Protection and Ethical Principles

This e-learning activity is designed as a refresher of the key radiation protection principles and ethical considerations that form the basis of the ICRP’s radiological protection system and are part of the new Royal Decree of 13/02/2020 on (non-)medical exposures.

RIZIV/INAMI accreditation for physicians:
1.5 CP Ethics & Economics (activity: 20009729)

FANC/AFCN continuing education:
1u30 for “Nuclearisten”/”Médecin nucléariste”
1u30 for “Gemachtigden in Nucleaire Geneeskunde”/”Personne habilitée en médecine nucléaire”

Requirements for receiving CPs:

  • BELNUC member in good standing
  • At least 90 minutes active participation
  • Completion of all chapters
  • Answers to all questions
  • Complete the feedback form
  • Complete between 1/7/2020 – 1/7/2021

You will receive a certificate of completion by email at the end of this activity. Validated participation is sent to RIZIV/INAMI and FANC/AFCN at the end of each month. Please allow up to 4 weeks of processing time before these CPs are included in your personal accreditation file. Please read the additional information regarding this activity.
