SCK CEN nodigt u uit voor The Belgian RLT Summit 2026, een interfederaal forum over de toekomst van radioligandtherapie (RLT) in België.

België speelt een sleutelrol in de ontwikkeling en uitrol van RLT, een van de meest veelbelovende innovaties binnen de nucleaire geneeskunde en oncologische zorg. Dankzij een uitzonderlijk sterk en geïntegreerd ecosysteem, van de productie van radio-isotopen en farmaceutische innovatie tot gespecialiseerde ziekenhuiszorg, beschikt ons land over alle troeven om toonaangevend te zijn in Europa.

Met dit forum willen wij beleidsmakers, clinici, academici, industrie en bevoegde autoriteiten samenbrengen om te werken aan een coherente en toekomstgerichte interfederale strategie voor RLT. Onze gezamenlijke ambitie moet zijn om zowel de toegang van patiënten tot deze therapie te waarborgen als de leidende positie van het Belgische ecosysteem te versterken en te bestendigen.

La Belgique joue un rôle clé dans le développement et le déploiement de la RLT, l’une des innovations les plus prometteuses en médecine nucléaire et en oncologie. Notre pays est aujourd’hui un leader européen grâce à un écosystème exceptionnellement solide et intégré, allant de la production de radio-isotopes et de l’innovation pharmaceutique aux soins hospitaliers hautement spécialisés.

À travers ce forum, nous souhaitons réunir décideurs politiques, cliniciens, universitaires, acteurs industriels et autorités compétentes afin de travailler à une stratégie interfédérale cohérente et tournée vers l’avenir pour la RLT. Notre ambition commune doit être d’assurer l’accès des patients à cette thérapie tout en renforçant et en consolidant la position de leader de l’écosystème belge.

SCK CEN is pleased to invite you to The Belgian RLT Summit 2026, an interfederal forum on the future of radioligand therapy (RLT) in Belgium.

Belgium plays a key role in the development and deployment of RLT, one of the most promising innovations in nuclear medicine and oncology care. Thanks to an exceptionally strong and integrated ecosystem, ranging from the production of radioisotopes and pharmaceutical innovation to highly specialised hospital care, our country has all the assets required to be a European leader in this field.

With this forum, we aim to bring together policymakers, clinicians, academics, industry representatives and competent authorities to work towards a coherent and forward-looking interfederal strategy for RLT. Our shared ambition must be to ensure patient access to this therapy while strengthening and consolidating the leading position of the Belgian ecosystem.
